Why Technology is good

Imagine living in a world with no electricity, cars, planes, cooking stoves, other white goods. 

The whole day would be spent in completing everyday routine tasks just for feeding yourself, cleaning the house and doing laundry. travelling a few kilometers on foot since there would be no pipelines for water. Although people like to blame technology for a lot of things, but why technology is good.

Because its up-to us how we use it. Everything can be good or bad. and excess of everything is bad.

A recent google search tells me that every minute , 300 hours of video content is being uploaded on youtube. There is so much data being produced that we cannot simply process it. for every one minute of your life, you have a choice of watching 300 hours of video which is not possible. over indulgence and excessive use of technology can be bad. A few decades ago, if you wanted to learn about something such as how ships are built. you would have to visit a library and look for a relevant book. now with a few clicks on google and youtube. you can read all about it and also see the visuals. The way you get education has changed. with websites such as instructables.com you can learn to make anything. 

I can see in a few years time, there would be full time jobs for filtering out relevent data because so much of it is being produced.
